Main Objectives
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of the development, including all pre and post housebuilding works
Managing the development in line with programme and budget costs as well as ensuring quality and health and safety targets are met
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance on site at all times to Company Health and Safety standards, policies and processes, LABC standards, building regulations and quality standards
Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme, proactively scheduling in trades to ensure optimum speed of delivery
Managing material levels to support efficiency of labour whilst keeping excesses to a minimum
Undertaking quality inspections using the Company management system, collating photographs plot by plot to evidence compliance
Ensuring defects are resolved in an efficient manner
Monitoring and controlling the cost of production whilst proactively seeking to reduce and eliminate subcontractor variations and day works
Providing professional leadership on site to encourage best practice performance from all members of the site team through proactive engagement, management and development
Completing new home tours with sales/neighbourhood teams of the client prior to handovers
Setting and maintaining high standards within Health and Safety, quality of works, site presentation, conduct and professionalism throughout the build process

Qualifications & Training
- Essential

CIOB Member and/or NVQ Level 5 or above in Construction Management

Basic Scaffold Inspection certification

Previous Senior Site Manager experience

Extensive experience of working to an established build programme and managing key priorities on challenging sites

Internal: Directly employed site staff, Contracts Manager, Procurement & Commercial staff, Directors
External: Sub-Contractors, suppliers, LABC (or similar) representatives, customers and members of the public
