Main Objectives
Undertake joinery work and multi skilled labouring duties across developments
Complete proactical skills including but not limited to; internal and external window and door hanging, first, second and final fix works inline with site deadlines, programmes and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
Practical Elements
Work and perform in a safe and conscientious manner at all times
Perform joinery and multi skilled tasks according to desired project timescales, esnuring high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Complete installation of internal and external doors and casings, including fire, UPVC and composite doors
Identify appropriate boxing in solutions and finish to a high quality standard
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, always adhering to Health and Safety regulations and company processes
Read drawings and identify materials needed to complete works and order with Site Manager
Use correct tools safely for the desired job method and ensure they are always safe to use
Complete general labouring duties to support site teams when required
Soft Skills
Communicate with Site Manager around day to day works of the development, noting works completed on weekly timesheets
Be punctual and inform People and Culture Manager informed of any absences
Mentor member of Joinery team including apprentices to further develop them in the craft of joinery

Experience

Minimum of 3 years on site Joinery experience
Working relationships
It is important to form strong working relationships with both internal and external people. The focus in this role is:
Internal: Directly employed site staff, Site Managers and Contracts Managers
External: Sub-Contractors, suppliers and LABC (or similar) representatives
